RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's Sally Corey was named Midwest Conference Track and Field Performer of the Week Tuesday, as released by the Conference office. Corey, who earned a seventh place finish at Saturday's UW-Oshkosh Invitational, broke the school record in the indoor weight throw with a toss of 45'9". The previous school record was held by Jenni Marcell who threw 44'9" in 2006.

The senior from Richland Center, Wis. was competing in her final collegiate meet. Corey will finish the semester abroad, as she will leave to study in Germany on February 28th.
