RIPON, Wis. - Freshman Max Bellmore became the second Ripon men's track and field athlete this season to earn the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week award, after being named the MWC men's field POW on Tuesday. Bellmore received the award, the first of his career, for his performance in Saturday's UW-Stevens Point Invitational, which saw him finish in the top four in two individual events, while also helping a Ripon relay team to a third-place finish.

At that meet, Bellmore cleared a career and conference-best height of 6’04.00” in the high jump, placing him third in the event. The Libertyville, Ill. native then placed fourth in the triple jump (41’11.25”) and ran the anchor leg on the Red Hawk's third-place 4x200 relay team.
