Grinnell, Iowa - Dave Billings took two titles for Ripon at the 2006 MWC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with firsts in the 1500M and 5000M. Brittany Dick took the crown in the 3000M steeple chase. The women placed fifth and the men finished sixth at the event.

Dick's time of 11:24.71 was a season-best for the Red Hawks as was her fourth place time of 4:54.39 in the 1500M run. Other top finishes for the women included a fourth for Latasha Carter in the 100M and a third, fouth, fifth place finish for Martha Dantuma, Jenny Marcell and Shannon Henderson in the javelin. Henderson also took third in the discus, Marcell sixth.

For the men, Jimmy Hein took second in a Ripon season-best time of 9:38.03 in the 3000M steeple chase. Bob Wood finished second in the 110M hurdles.
