Billings Takes Two Individual Titles at MWCA Championships

Monmouth, Ill. - Dave Billings took two individual conference titles at the MWC Championships this weekend, placing first in the 3000 and 5000M. He also helped the DMR to a first place finish. Brittany Dick had the top individual placing for the women with a second in the mile. The women took first in the 1600 sprint medley. The men finished in third with 63.5 points and the women took sixth with 66.5.

Billings was named track performer of the meet and will be traveling to nationals this weekend to compete in the 5000M. The men's third place finish is a program best which has been done one other time (1984). It is also Ripon's eighth consecutive finish of fifth or better in a MWC Track & Field championship meet.
