RIPON, Wis. - The Ripon women had a successful weekend, defeating both Beloit and St. Norbert at Saturday's double dual in what was their lone home meet of the season. Jenni Schalla led the way for the Red Hawks, and has been named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week for her efforts.
Schalla helped Ripon to a pair of victories in their double dual, with wins in both the the 400 yard IM and 200 yard breaststroke with times of 5:14.81 and 2:41.72, respectively. The sophomore from West Bend, Wis. was also a part of Ripon’s winning relay team in the 200 yard medley, which swam a time of 2:01.90. Schalla holds the MWC’s top times in both breaststroke events this season.
