RIPON, Wis. - It didn't take long for Brittnee Peotter to adjust to the college game. In her first action as a collegiate player, the freshman helped lead the Red Hawks to a 4-5 mark in last week's games. Peotter's outstanding performance earned her the Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week award, as released by the Midwest Conference office on Tuesday.
Peotter started three games, while appearing in four on the spring trip, posting a 2-1 record. The right-hander from Kaukauna, Wis. allowed two earned runs in 22.1 innings for a 0.63 ERA. She earned struck out 18 batters in her four appearances, which included victories over Penn State-Behrend (5-2) and Westfield State (6-1).
