RIPON, Wis. - For the second time this season, Ripon freshman Brittnee Peotter has been named Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week. She earned her most recent award for pitching Ripon's way into the Midwest Confernece Tournament. Needing a win in their last conference game of the season to qualify for the tournament, Peotter delivered a complete game two hitter in the Red Hawk's 2-1 victory over Carroll College. In that game, she set a school record with 14 strikeouts, including the final six batters of the game.

Peotter went 2-0 in three starts last week, with her other win coming at Lawrence University, in a game where she recorded 10 strikeouts. In her three starts, the Kaukauna, Wis. native pitched 19.2 innings, allowing five earned runs on 12 hits, while striking out 28 batters.
