| Lukas placed sixth in the weight throw at this weekend's MWC Championships in Jacksonville, Ill. Her throw of 42-08.5 is a new career-best for her in that event, and also places her 13th on Ripon College's all-time performance list in the weight throw. |

Dave Czarnecki

Czarnecki helped lead Ripon to a pair of wins over the weekend. The Red Hawks defeated MSOE 8-1 and Concordia (WI) 9-0. Czarnecki was a combined 4-0 in those two matches, winning his singles and doubles matches against each school, while playing in the number one slot each time. Against MSOE, Czarnecki won number one singles 6-0, 6-1, while teaming up with Ben Sweeney to win number one doubles 8-2. He then went on to win number one singles against Concordia, winning 6-3, 6-0, while also teaming up with Sweeney again, to win number one doubles, 8-5. |

Marcell achieved her season-best distance in the shot put at Saturday's UW-Stevens Point Invitational. Her distance of
40-08.75 was good enough for fourth place in the event, and was the second-longest indoor throw of her career in the shot put. |

Scott Gillespie

Gillespie led Ripon to two wins last week, including a 96-90 upset against Carroll College. In that game, Gillespie led the way with game-highs of 26 points and 13 assists, while also recording five rebounds and one steal. He also made 6-of-12 shots from the field and 14-of-16 from the free throw line against the Pioneers. He followed that up with another good performance in Ripon’s season-ending 84-67 win at Beloit. Against the Buccaneers, Gillespie led all scorers again, with 22 points, while also dishing out five assists and recording one rebound and one steal. He averaged 24 points, nine assists, three rebounds, and one steal per game in the two games. |

| Schalla helped lead the women's swim team to a third-place finish at the Midwest Conference Championships, which is the highest finish in school history. Schalla broke the school record in the 400-yard IM with a time of 5:00.47, which was good enough for fifth in the event. She also had two individual top-three finishes, including her highest finish of the meet in the 200-yard breaststroke, where she swam a second-best time of 2:35.25. Schalla finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:13.52. She was also part of Ripon's 200-yard medley relay team, which set a new school record with a time of 1:59.09, placing them second in the event. |

Parker Heaps

Heaps had a record-setting day over the weekend at the Midwest Conference Championships. He broke Ripon's longest-standing school record, swimming a time of 22.33 on the first leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay, which broke the 37-year old mark in the 50-yard freestyle by .07 seconds. Heaps was also successful in several other events, earning three top-three finishes. His best finish was in the 1650 freestyle, where he placed second with a time of 17:07.10. Heaps also finished third in both the 200 yard and 500 yard freestyles with times of 1:48.31 and 4:52.34, respectively.

| Meyer led Ripon to a pair of wins over the weekend, including an overtime victory over Illinois College. Against the Lady Blues, Meyer scored 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including 2-for-3 from 3-point range and 6-of-8 from the foul line. She also added four rebounds, two steals, and an assist. The following day against Knox, Meyer was the Red Hawks leading scorer again, posting 12 points in just 19 minutes of action, while also recording seven rebounds, two assists, and a block. In those two games, Meyer averaged 18 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1 steal per game. |

| Reese broke the Ripon College school indoor record in the 400 at Saturday's Eastbay Invitational in Stevens Point, Wis. Reese ran a time of 51.68 in the event, breaking the previous mark of 52.14, which was set 25 years ago by Jan Potter in 1983. |

| Marcell placed in the top six in two different events at Saturday's Tadd Metzger Invite at Carthage College. The senior finished fifth in the shot put with a distance of 38-07.5, while also earning a sixth place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 45-09.75. That mark in the weight throw sets a new school record in the event, breaking her own mark, which was set last season. |

| Hein set a new school record in the 800 meter run at Saturday's Tadd Metzer Invite at Carthage College, running a time of 1:58.73. That time broke the previous mark, which was set by Hein in 2006. Hein was also a part of Ripon's third place DMR team, which ran a time of 11:10.99. |

| Jones helped lead Ripon to a second-place team finish at Saturday's Lawrence Invitational. Jones was the lone Red Hawk to finish first in an event, winning the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:15.47. Jones also swam a leg on two relays that each finished in second place. She was a part of the 200 yard medley and the 200 yard freestyle, which swam times of 2:04.38 and 1:53.08, respectively. |

| Heaps finished first in both the 500 and 1000 freestyles at the Lawrence Invitational on Saturday with times of 5:12.71 and 10:06.88, respectively. His time in the 1000 broke the Ripon school record in the event, which was set 28 years ago. That time was 24 seconds than the second-place swimmer in Saturday’s race. |

| Rice helped Ripon to a second place finish at the Beloit Triangular on Friday, winning two individual events, while also swimming a leg on a winning relay team. Rice finished first in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 27.44. She also won the 100 yard freestyles with a time of 59.22. Rice was also a part of Ripon’s winning 400 yard medley relay team, swimming a time of 4:31.16, which was eight seconds faster than the second-place team. |

| In what was his first ever collegiate track meet, Bakary Dao was the winner of the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.71, which was a tenth of a second faster than the second place runner. There were 46 runners in the preliminaries of that event. |

| Meyer helped lead Ripon to their first conference win with a 54-52 win at Lawrence University. Meyer came off the bench to score a team-high 15 points on 7-of-14 shooting (50%). She also pulled down a game-high nine rebounds (3 offensive). In addition to that, the freshman guard also recorded two assists. Those are all new career-highs for Meyer. |

| Kellett was the second-leading scorer in both of Ripon's games last week, an 82-80 win over UW-Stout and an 80-64 loss at Lawrence University. In the two games, Kellett averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game. The senior also had one assist in each game, while also shooting 80% (4-5) from the free throw line. |

| Wise helped lead Ripon to an 82-47 win over Rockford College in the Red Hawk's lone game last week. Against the Regents, Wise scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting, while also pulling down seven rebounds. The senior added two assists and one steal in just 21 minutes of play. |

Yaeger helped lead Ripon to the South Padre Island Tournament Championship game last week, leading the team in scoring both games. Yaeger averaged 8.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. The junior also shot a combined 7-of-12 from the field, en route to being named to the All-Tournament Team. |

| Wright was the sparkplug off the bench for the Red Hawks during their two games, both wins, at the Land of Magic Classic in Daytona Beach, Fla. last week. The senior scored 10 and nine points, respectively, while shooting a combined 6-of-8 from the field, including 3-of-3 from 3-point range. He also made all three of his free throws attempts. Wright also averaged 4.5 rebounds and three steals in the two games. |

| Gillespie was a big reason Ripon nearly pulled an upset of #3 ranked UW-Stevens Point on Saturday. The freshman scored a game-high 31 points on 11-of-19 shooting in the 71-67 loss to the Pointers. Gillespie was also 2-of-6 from 3-point range and 7-of-12 from the free throw line, while also recording two rebounds and two assists. |

DeHamer was the lone Red Hawk to score in double figures in Wednesday's 60-48 loss to St. Norbert, finishing with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting. The sophomore forward also pulled down four rebounds, while recording two assists and three steals.

| Fischer scored 11 points and pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds (6 offensive) in Ripon’s 61-59 loss to St. Norbert on Wednesday. He was very efficient from the field, making all four of his field goal attempts, including a three-pointer. Fischer added one assist and one block in the game. |

| Corbett helped Ripon finish fifth out of seven teams at Saturday's UW-Oshkosh Invitational with 280 team points, which was just 5.5 points out of fourth place. Corbett placed higher than any Ripon swimmer at the meet, finishing fourth in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:27.69. Corbett was also a part of Ripon's
200-yard medley relay team which finished thrid with a time of

Wagner helped Ripon finish third out of six teams at the
UW-Oshkosh Invitational on Saturday. He gave them their only win of the day, as he finished first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.79, edging UW-Oshkosh's Nic Cole by one second. Wagner also finished second in the 200 yard backstroke, as his time of 2:07.18 was seven seconds off the pace of the first-place swimmer. |

| Goebel scored a career-high 16 points in Saturday's win at Concordia (WI), which was her first career start for the Red Hawks, while also recording a team-high six rebounds, to go along with two steals. In Ripon's two games last week, Goebel averaged 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game. She was also shot the ball very efficiently, shooting 50% (7-14) from the field and 75% (9-12) from the free throw line in those two games. |

| Esters was solid in his first two games as a collegiate player, averaging 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in Ripon’s two contests last week. In those two games in which Ripon went 1-1, Esters missed just one shot, making 12 of 13 shots from the field (92.3%), including a 7-for-7 performance in Ripon’s loss at UW-LaCrosse. Against the Eagles, Esters was the team’s leading scorer with 16 points. Esters scored 30 points in the two games, while playing just 41 minutes. |
