WAUKESHA, Wis. - Ripon nearly saw their 15-game conference win streak come to an end Saturday afternoon against Carroll College. At the end of the day though, that streak moved to 16 consecutive conference victories, with a 5-4 win at Carroll College.

The Red Hawks (4-9, 1-0 MWC) won four of their six singles matches on the day. Dave Czarnecki and Ben Sweeney won number one and two singles, each in two sets. Dan Weiler and Dan Rodriguez also gave Ripon wins in two sets, winning in number four and six singles, respectively.

In doubles play, Czarnecki and Sweeney teamed up to defeat Carroll's Matt Ware and Michael Wajda 8-3 in number one play. Carroll (8-6, 0-1 MWC) took number two and three doubles, winning 9-8 (7-4) and 9-7, respectively.

Ripon will hope to extend their conference winning streak even further on April 18, when they'll host Lawrence University at Larson Courts. That match will begin at 4:00 p.m.
