Ripon stayed atop the Midwest Conference North Division standings this weekend with a pair of conference victories. The Red Hawks defeated Lawrence University 8-1 Friday, before winning at Beloit by the same 8-1 score on Saturday.
At Lawrence, the Red Hawks (5-7, 3-0) won their first five singles matches before dropping number six singles. George Higgins, Dave Czarnecki, Ben Metzler, and Dan Weiler all won in two sets, while Dan Rodriguez won in three. Ripon then won all three doubles matches against the Vikings.
Saturday, the Red Hawks defeated Beloit 8-1 by winning five of their six singles matches once again. They would win all three doubles matches to seal the victory.
Ripon will conclude its regular season Sunday, as they'll host St. Norbert College. The match is scheduled to begin at Noon.
