HOUGHTON, Mich. - Once again the doubles points proved to be the
diffence in men's tennis' 5-4 loss to Michigan Tech. Paul Vanden
Boogaard and Dave Czarnecki took the win at No. 1 doubles (8-3),
but the No. 2 and 3 pairs could not get the victories. With the
loss, Ripon dropped to 1-2 on the season.
VandenBoogaard and Czarnecki also had points for Ripon at No.
1 and 2 singles, respectively. VandenBoogaard won his match 7-5,
6-7, 6-3, while Czarnecki took it 6-2, 6-2. Dan Weiler also had
a win for the Red Hawks at No. 5, 6-3, 6-4.
