Kyle Seemeyer
Jr., Midfielder |
RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's Kyle Seemeyer was selected to the 2009 Men's Soccer All-Conference team Wednesday, as released by the conference office, making him the only Red Hawk to earn the honor this season. The Neenah, Wis. native was named to the MWC Second Team after playing in all 18 games for the Red Hawks, helping to rejuvenate the team to three more conference wins than a year ago.
Seemeyer led the team in goals and assists with six and five respectively. That also made him Ripon's scoring leader with a team-best 17 points. In the team's nine conference games, Seemeyer scored four goals, while recording an MWC-best five assists. The junior transfer made both his penalty kicks this season and converted two of the Red Hawk's five game-winning goals.
