BERLIN, Wis. - The Red Hawk golf team has improved their score each week they've competed, and Wednesday was no different. The Red Hawks shot a season-best 348 as a team, finishing in fourth place as the host team of the North Division Tournament. St. Norbert won the meet with a team score of 320.

Ripon was led by Raj Pelon, who shot a 77, including a 37 on the back nine. Rylee Berndt finished the day with an 86, while Billy Kollatz and Bob Faulds shot a 92 and 93, respectively. Ben Lukoski rounded out the team's individual scores by shooting a 99.

The Red Hawks finished 10 strokes behind Lawrence University, and 14 strokes behind Carroll College. Beloit College came in fifth place, finishing with a team score of 385.

Ripon will have one more tune-up before the conference tournament begins. The Red Hawks will travel to Lawrence University on Saturday, before making the trip to St. Norbert Sunday morning. Saturday's tournament at Eagle Creek GC will begin at 10:00 a.m.
