Beloit, Wis. - Ripon squared off with six other teams from the Midwest Conference at Saturday's Buc Open. Before all was said and done, the Red Hawks finished in sixth place with a score of 349, just ahead of the host Beloit Buccaneers. Monmouth, who had two teams competing, finished in the top two spots with team scores of 311 and 318.

Ripon was led by Raj Pelon, who shot an 85. There wasn't much difference in scores for the Red Hawks, as Rylee Berndt and Bob Faulds finished with scores of 87 and 88, respectively. Ben Lukoski and Ryan Jahns rounded out the Red Hawks scores, as they shot an 89 and 90, respectively.

Ripon will be in action once again on Sunday at Carroll College. That tournament is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. at Broadlands Golf Course.
