RIPON, Wis. - Ripon senior guard David McMullen picked off a pass just one minute into Friday's 89-75 win over Knox College, putting him atop the list of all-time steals leaders in school history. McMullen's first of eight steals against the Prairie Fire moved him past Tommy Becker (2002-05) in the category. The Houston, Texas native now has 170 steals in his Red Hawk career.

McMullen is averaging a team-leading 4.2 steals per game this season, while also putting up 9.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. He is also moving up the ranks in the record books for career assists. His four assists against Knox moves him into third place on the career assists list. McMullen has recorded 366 in his career, and stands 59 behind second.
