RIPON, Wis. - Ripon senior Bo Johnson recently reached a very important career milestone for the Red Hawk men’s basketball team. In Ripon’s 90-76 loss at UW-Stevens Point last Friday, Johnson scored seven points, giving him exactly 1,000 points for his career. The Wausau, Wis. native currently has 1,018 points in his distinguished career.

Johnson is the 25th men’s basketball player in Red Hawk history to achieve the 1,000 point plateau. The Wausau East product is currently averaging a team-high 17.8 points per game, to go along with 4.5 rebounds per game through the Red Hawk’s first four games. Johnson also stands just six three-pointers away from moving into third on Ripon’s all-time list for three-pointers made.
