Ripon Will Add Three Athletes To Athletic Hall of Fame

June 19, 2009

RIPON, Wis. – Ripon College will see their athletic Hall of Fame expand to 120 members at Alumni Weekend, June 26-28, with the addition of three former student-athletes. The new additions include two-sport stars Matt Becker '99 and Crystal Helm '97 and former running back Don Roca-Dawson '94. All three of them left their mark in their respective sports at Ripon and will be honored with their induction into the Hall of Fame at the Alumni Awards dinner on Friday, June 26 at 4 p.m. in Pickard Commons on the campus of Ripon College. RIPON, Wis. - Becca Carstensen has been named the head volleyball coach at Ripon College, replacing Erin Plumley, who resigned after one season. Carstensen becomes the fifth head coach in program history and takes over a team that finished 10-17 a year ago, including a 6-3 mark in the Midwest Conference and a trip to the MWC Tournament. Red Hawks Nab Five Recruits For 2009

RIPON, Wis. - Excitement surrounds the Ripon College men's basketball program as they look ahead to the 2009-10 season, thanks to the addition of five talented recruits. The Red Hawks will welcome a dynamic duo of forwards from Brillion High School, Andy Popp and Zach Muelemans, while also adding Taylor Koth from Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Joshua Perales from McAllen, Texas and Alex Erdman from Wisconsin Rapids.
