Jacob Gahart Fr., Kicker

RIPON, Wis. - For the second time in three weeks, Ripon kicker Jacob Gahart has been named Midwest Conference Special Teams Performer of the Week. He made his only field goal attempt during Saturday's 38-17 win at Grinnell, while also connecting on all five extra point attempts.

With a 31-yard field goal early in the second quarter against the Pioneers, Gahart broke Ripon’s school record for most field goals in a single season, with his ninth of the year. The freshman is 9-for-11 on field goals this season, including a perfect 7-for-7 from inside the 40-yard line. He has kicked a career-long 47-yarder this season, which is also a Ripon record.
