 RIPON, Wis. - Joshua Kraemer received an exclamation point to his football career at Ripon College recently, as the senior defensive back was named to the d3football.com All-American team as an Honorable Mention. Kraemer earned the award as a safety, where he intercepted six passes for the second consecutive season, as he helped Ripon to an 8-2 record and a second place finish in the Midwest Conference.
In addition to his team-high six interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown, Kraemer also ranked fourth on the team with 55 tackles. He also broke up nine passes and recorded three and a half tackles for a loss. The Waukesha, Wis. native forced three fumbles on the year, while recovering another. In four seasons with the Red Hawks, Kraemer intercepted 17 passes, which is tied for fourth on the school's all-time list.
