RIPON, Wis. - The Ripon football team ran rampant in Saturday's 47-21 win at Grinnell College on Saturday, piling up 460 yards, which ranks fourth in school history for a single game. A big reason for those rushing yards was the play of John McGuire, who was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week, as released by the conference office on Monday.

McGuire carried the ball 12 times for 127 yards against the Pioneers, including three touchdowns on runs of 13, 11 and 18 yards. The senior from Algoma, Wis. also caught two passes for 30 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, giving him four TDs in the game.
