LABOR DAY WEEKEND

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, SEPT. 4 & 5, 2010

NORDIC MOUNTAIN SKI AREA

Mt. Morris, Wisconsin

Presented by the Ripon College Red Hawks Cycling Team with support from the Wisconsin Off Road Series and Nordic Mountain

The Ripon College Red Hawks cycling team is excited to bring collegiate cycling back to Nordic Mountain for the second race on the Midwest Collegiate Cycling Conference 2010 mountain bike calendar.

Thanks to the organization and drive of Don Edberg, Director of the Wisconsin Off Road Series, Nordic Mountain was host to race number four of the 2010 US ProXCT series. We're looking forward to working with Don to give collegiate cyclists from throughout the Midwest the same great race experience as that our nation's top pros had this past June.

Here's what the pro women's winner Georgia Gould had to say about the course at Nordic Mountain: "The lap was short - about 4 miles, but it had a little bit of everything: short, punchy climbs; fast singletrack; tight switchbacks; a few rock gardens and plenty of places to pass. Not only that, but the course wound around the venue making it very spectator-friendly. The course was great ...  I'd say it was the best national series race we've been to in awhile."
