RIPON, Wis. - For the second consecutive week, a Ripon Red Hawk women's cross country runner has been named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week. This week's selection was Jessica Davey, who finished first out of 110 runners at Saturday's Wisconsin Private College Championships (WPCC) in Mequon, Wis. This marks the second time that Davey has earned the weekly conference award.

Davey's time of 19:18 helped lead Ripon to a second place team finish at the WPCC. That time is Davey's career best and ranks 11th on Ripon's all-time list for a 5K race. With the first place individual finish, the junior from Berlin, Wis. notched her second career meet victory, with the first coming at the Concordia (WI) Invite in 2006.
