The men's team won this event for the third time in the last five years (also winning in 2002 and 2005). They recorded a team score of 37 points, which was nearly double that of second place MSOE. Leading the way for the Red Hawks was Jim Hein, who finished third overall with an 8K time of 25:54. Harrison Smith and Bryan Schneider were hot on his tail, as they crossed the finish line in fifth and sixth place with times of 26:14 and 26:33, respectively. Jason Smith also finished in the top ten at tenth place with a time of 27:03. The Red Hawks had seven of the top 16 finishers, as Michael Dussault, Ben Worcester, and Andy Peck finished, 13th, 15th, and 16th, respectively.
The women's team earned 135 total points as a team, finishing 25 points out of fourth place. The Red Hawks finished eight points better than fellow Midwest Conference school, St. Norbert. Jessica Davey paced the women's team with a fourth place finish with a career best time of 19:48 in the 5K race. Rebecca Duley wasn't far behind, finishing ninth with a time of 20:04. Erin Bavery also finished in the top 40, as she placed 31st with a time of 21:21.
