Welcome Back!
The Alumni Board of Directors invites you to spend a beautiful weekend with your fellow alumni and alma mater, June 27-30, 2013.
Whether we’ve been gone a year, a decade, or half a lifetime, we all remember Ripon as a place with a special spirit, a unique way of being, that animates the work that happens here.
We remember Ripon fondly, as a place where lifetime friendships and relationships were formed; where we found ourselves and our callings in life; where we experimented with adulthood and said goodbye to childhood (albeit some more gracefully than others!).
Ripon is a place with a unique commitment to developing in students a strength of character and a quality of intellect that enables them to become the kinds of leaders this world is now demanding. It is a safe place, one that cared for us and harbored our dreams, and gave us the confidence to excel in all that is asked of us. It is a place to which we return out of nostalgia, out of pride and out of commitment to its future.
We hope to see you in June! Your Alumni Association Board of Directors

Much ink has been spilled in recent years about whether or not the United States will remain the world’s sole superpower. The rise of new developing economies, overstretch in the Middle East and economic and political problems at home have led many observers to question whether America’s ‘unipolar moment’ that began with the fall of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, is now coming to an end. The class will examine some of the broad historical trends in American foreign policy and look at the current challenges facing President Obama and his team of advisers.
