What is AAA?

The success of Ripon College’s student enrollment depends on the efforts of Alumni and Parents educating prospective students on the values of a Ripon education. By working together, we will continue to attract a diverse, intelligent and conscientious student body. The AAA program provides you with the opportunity to share your enthusiasm for Ripon “one student at a time.”

Interested volunteers and Alumni will assist the Admission Office in many ways:

  • Help an admission counselor with a college fair and/or high school visit
  • Contact and meet with prospective students
  • Speak at on-campus event regarding your profession or experience
  • Host or attend a prospective student reception in your area with a Ripon College admission counselor
  • Represent Ripon College at high school awards programs

Scholarships of Interest to Alumni

Two scholarships for admitted students are of particular importance to alumni:

  • The Legacy Tuition Award is given to siblings, children or grandchildren of Ripon alumni and is valued at $8,000 ($2,000 per year). Students must list on the application for admission their relationship to an alumnus, and the award is granted from the Office of Admission.
  • The Alumni Award Recommendation is valued at $2,000 annually (total value of $8,000 over four years) and awarded to high school seniors who have demonstrated strong leadership skills in school and the community; who are "solid students," having made consistent progress toward graduation; and who have applied to and been accepted by Ripon College.  A Ripon College Alumna/us must complete the nomination form available from the Office of Admission.

Remember, each time you influence a qualified student to choose Ripon, you help to expand the Ripon College legacy and secure Ripon's future. You connect a promising young adult with a top-quality educational opportunity which will serve as a critical building block to a happy and successful future!
