Your Summer Orientation registration fee includes meals for you and each of your paid and registered guests. Dinner will be served on day one as well as breakfast and lunch on day two. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the program. All meals are served in Pickard Commons by Ripon's food service, Sodexho Marriott Services. Vegetarian options will be offered at all meals. If you or a family member have specific dietary needs, please inform a Summer Orientation staff member when you check in for your session.

Complimentary lodging also is included with your registration fee. All residence hall rooms are double occupancy. Students will be assigned to a room with another student. Family members will be assigned together to the best of our ability. Space limitations might restrict us from granting single rooms. Therefore, families participating with one person (or three or five people) may have one family member assigned to a room with a member of another student's family.

In each room, you'll find modest furnishings including twin beds, dressers, desks and a mirror. Sheets, towels, washcloths, pillow, blanket and soap will be supplied for each person. Rooms open onto a central corridor where restrooms and showers are shared with other people attending Summer Orientation. Please note that rooms do not have air conditioning, televisions or private baths. Bringing a fan is recommended. Roll-away beds are not available.

Parents and families may choose to stay in an area motel. The Summer Orientation registration fee does not change if families stay in a motel or commute. Please notify the Office of Admission if you are not staying in the residence halls.
