Individualized Visit

An individualized visit is based on your academic and extra-curricular interests. Take the opportunity to expand your campus visit beyond a tour and choose to sit in on a class, meet with a faculty member or coach, have lunch with students and more. We will do our best to accommodate all of your requests. Please sign up at least two weeks in advance so that we can have your day set up just for you.

General Overnight Visits

Overnight visits are an opportunity to experience first-hand what student life is like at Ripon College. Visiting students are paired with a current student host and spend the evening with them living the college life through sharing meals with current students, attending campus events or group meetings, and spending the night in the student hosts’ residence hall room. These special visits are offered only to high school seniors who have been accepted to Ripon College, and are designed to help in their college selection process. The day following the student’s overnight visit will feature the opportunity to participate in the activities offered in a traditional daytime individual visit (campus tour, class attendance, faculty or coach appointment, etc) Space is limited, and a permission form is required for the visit.

Fine Arts Overnight Visits

Spend the night at Ripon College to experience campus life and specifically the Fine Arts. You will be paired with a current student and spend the night in a first-year student residence hall. In the evening you will attend a Theatre or Music rehearsal, Forensics practice, or go down to Rodman to meet with Art students in the studio. Your second day will include a campus tour and meeting with an admission counselor. You can also choose to meet with faculty in your interest area, sit in on a class and schedule a Fine Arts audition to receive scholarship awards!

NOTE: This event is limited to students who are interested in participating, minoring or majoring in Art, Theatre, Music or participating in Forensics. Also, you can only receive a Fine Arts Scholarship if you haven’t maxed out your Ripon scholarships at $19,000.
