Welcome to Ripon! My name is Cynthia Fitzsimmons, and it is my extreme pleasure to be the admission counselor who works with students from the southwestern part of Wisconsin, the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Montana, Alaska and Hawaii, as well as all international students.

In my short time with the College, I have found the Ripon family to be welcoming and sincere. My hope for you is that you are able to visit our beautiful campus and experience first-hand what a special community Ripon College truly is.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in communications and my master’s degree in college student development and administration. As a student, I was involved in Greek life, mentoring local youths and community service activities, and I interned on my campus in the Alumni Office. My experience in higher education exists in both private and public settings, and I firmly believe in the value of receiving a liberal arts education at Ripon College!

In my free time, I love to travel (especially destinations abroad), spend time with family and friends, attempt to cook and play volleyball.
