Each year, the National Scholarship Program sponsors a variety of events designed to develop students’ potential as candidates for major academic awards.
National Scholarship Program Workshops
Students who have demonstrated potential to compete successfully for national scholarships will be invited to attend workshops on topics ranging from summer research opportunities to interviewing techniques.
Faculty Scholarship Series
Students competing for national scholarships are strongly encouraged to attend the Faculty Scholarship Series. By watching faculty present their research, students will develop a better sense of the protocols for academic presentations of the sort they may be expected to give as a research fellow.
Board of Trustees National Scholarship
Candidate Reception
This annual event provides potential scholarship candidates with valuable networking opportunities, as well as experience in discussing their research and career ambitions with corporate and community leaders, philanthropists, and academics from a variety of disciplines.
For information about up-coming National Scholarship Program events, please consult the College Calendar or contact Jody Roy, Assistant Dean of Faculty.
