Student Advisers: Members of Gold Group who work
directly with the associate director of the Ripon College Program
for Ethical Leadership serve their first year as junior advisers
to the Red Group and their second year as Senior Advisers.
Senior Advisers
- Responsible for meeting with students
in their section at the beginning of each semester and outlining
with each the requirements that must be fulfilled that semester
to complete the program.
- Organize section attendance at campus events;
organize/moderate post-event discussions.
- Counsel students in their
section regarding organization membership and activity.
- Certify to
associate director of the Ripon College Program for Ethical Leadership
their section's successful completion of activities component.
Junior Advisers
- Counsel students in their section
regarding organization membership and activity.
- Assist senior advisers
as requested and stand in for them in their absence.
Program can be modified for those who wish to participate in an
off-campus program for one semester during their Junior year.
Mentors: Gold (Advanced) Group students will
select a mentor from faculty, administration, staff or the student
services staff. Mentors will meet with students one or more times
each semester to help plan the students' participation in the program
and to review progress on the development of the portfolio. Mentors
will receive an honorarium for their services.
