Welcome to the third floor of the Collaborative Learning Center. Here you will see the nuts and bolts of how the CLC works!

  The third floor houses the offices of the Director of the Collaborative Learning Center and the Mentor Coordinator/Center Manager. The Director of the CLC is Deano Pape. Deano is in the center throughout the day to assist students. He is also an assistant professor of Communication which helps to assure the professionalism and academic nature of the center as a whole.

The Mentor Coordinator and Center Manager is currently Brandon Parrott-Sheffer. He is a Psychology and History double major. His responsibility in the center is to make sure that there are always mentors on duty at the front desk as well as keep the center comfortable and user friendly. The Center Manager also upkeeps the website and all publications that are available throughout the center.

   Both Deano and Brandon are responsible for providing workshops and other educational materials both in and out of the classroom. This guarantees that all students have many opportunities to learn and enrich certain skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and public presentations, to name a few.
