Our computer facilities are first-rate.

The department has two laboratories with current generation computer systems and computational resources. Computer systems are connected to the campus computing facilities and the Internet by way of a DS3 connection. More computer systems are accessible in five laboratories at other campus locations. Software for symbolic computer algebra, statistical analysis, word processing, software development, spreadsheets and a variety of other productivity and analysis tools are available on all computer systems in our laboratories.

At Ripon, computer systems are available to students free of charge from early morning to late evening. Students may do their own personal projects, as well as class-assigned work, on the computer systems. Staff members and lab assistants are on hand to provide programming and technical assistance.

All campus residence halls are connected directly to the campus network and the Internet. Students need only purchase an appropriate network interface card for their computer.
