About the Professor

• Professor Kain was born in the former Soviet Union and spent a large part of his life in Europe. His main interests are bronze sculpture, ceramics and drawing. Gene’s art comes directly from personal experience. Some works are symbolic, others are representational. His teaching style is essentially one-on-one. He starts with a demonstration but then lets students develop their own responses.
