8. The Gymanfa Ganu (Hymn-singing Festival) is a Welsh cultural institution that is carried on by people of Welsh ancestry in the United States and Canada. Hear lots of familiar hymn tunes and get information about coming events at the Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu (WNGGA) site. If you are of documentable Welsh ancestry you can apply to the WNGGA for a grant, perhaps to travel to Wales to visit schools. (Contact Mary, who has received several small grants from the WNGGA.)
9. You can buy things directly from Wales on line. Here is a a good source of reasonably pricted goods: Wales Direct .
10. You can also buy some Welsh items on line from suppliers in the United States. One that offers some nice items is Harp and Dragon. The people there are nice and helpful.
11. Get a taste of Wales with Welsh recipes. If you like Welsh cakes, try this recipe from Mary and Olwen.

Our friends at Ysgol Yr Esgob published this recipe in their school cook book! They taste good even when not served on a dragon plate from Wales.

14. Ninnau is the Welsh North-American newspaper. If your class has done a special project in cooperation with your e-pals, consider submitting an article with pictures. Welsh-Americans are always interested in learning about new and interesting Welsh-American connections.
