Will last a minimum of 6 weeks and the recipients will receive a $1,200 honorarium from the MRCC. OMD Internship: Provide hands-on experience by not only assigning them to specific client teams for the summer, but also by offering various trianing and development classes. Tasks may include: Helping to prepare presentation materials and working on client projects; Working with competitive and consumer research, working with the media community by attending media rep meetings, obtaining media kits, updating contact lists for clients and media reps; Attending relevant training classes. Starcom MediaVest Group Internship: Have a passion for understanding consumer media behaviors and motivations to assist group members with various day-to-day client and/or agency tasks. |
| Experience/Qualifications: |
Qualified candidate must be enrolled in a four-year college or university towards an undergraduate or master's degree in advertising, research, marketing or other related major. Candidates must be entering their Junior or Senior year of course work. Course credit should be arranged prior to accepting the internship. Starcom MediaVest Group Internship - required skills: Intermediate PC Skills, specifically with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; SAS or SPSS and basic statistical proficiency is ideal; Desire to work in advertising and/or media research. |
