Off-Campus Study

Students are encouraged to acquire experience in other cultures through participation in off-campus study. There are many programs, both international and domestic, that are available to students through the College. Of particular interest to Ripon College anthropology students are the Costa Rica, India and Zimbabwe programs.

Archaeological Opportunities

Ripon is one of the few colleges in Wisconsin to offer continuing archaeological field work opportunities as part of regularly taught classes. Locally, excavations and other studies are carried out at prehistoric and historic sites in central Wisconsin. Fieldwork opportunities abroad also are available through our own Maymester program and off-campus study programs available through the College.
