Our 2009-2010 team is a dynamic group of 25 Ripon College students from 15 different majors, along with our two faculty advisers, Mary Avery and Lindsay Blumer.

Our mission as a team is as follows:

About SIFE

SIFE is an international network of student, academic and business leaders who have made a commitment to create a better world with better leaders – individuals who have the ability and are willing to put forth the effort to make a meaningful contribution to their communities, and are working together to improve the lives of others.

Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE mobilizes university students around the world to use the knowledge gained in the classroom to address real world business and economic issues in their communities. SIFE students form teams on their university campuses and develop outreach projects that teach market economics, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, personal success skills and business ethics.

SIFE is an international nonprofit active on over 800 campuses across the country.  We strive to change lives both locally and globally through outreach projects that teach basic business principles, business ethics, success skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.  We then present our projects at the SIFE regional and national competitions each year.

Ripon College SIFE was started 2004 and since then RC SIFE has received numerous awards.

2005 – Rookie of the Year

2006 – Regional Champion (Minneapolis, MN)

Qualified for trip to National Competition in Kansas City, MO

2007 – Regional Champion (Minneapolis, MN)

Qualified for trip to National Competition in Dallas, TX

2008 – Regional Champion (Minneapolis, MN)

Qualified for trip to National Competition in Chicago, IL. Finished First-Runner-Up in league which placed RC SIFE in the top 40 teams out of 580 in the country!

2009 – Regional Champion (Chicago, IL)

Qualified for trip to National competition in Philadelphia, PA

2010 – Regional Champion (Chicago, IL)

Qualified for trip to National competition in Minneapolis, MN
