| Miller helped Ripon finish seventh in the MWC Championships at Knox College over the weekend. She placed fourth in the shot put, throwing a distance of 40'02". That throw set a new school record, which was then broken by teammate Jenni Marcell later in the meet. |

Aaron Kammer

|
Kammer helped the Red Hawks to a sixth place finish in the MWC Championships over the weekend. He was part of three relay teams that placed, including the DMR, SMR, and 4x400. Ripon finished fourth, sixth, and eighth, respectively, in those events. Kammer also earned an eighth place finish in the 800 with a time of 2:02.84 in what was the final indoor meet of his career. |

Andy Schaller

|
Schaller won both his singles and doubles matches Saturday to help the Red Hawks defeat Elmhurst College (IL) 6-3. Schaller swept his number five singles match against Robert Korsch, defeating him 6-0, 6-0. Schaller then went on to team with Ben Metzler in number two doubles, defeating Jake McNamara/Dave Douglass 8-5. |

| Corey broke the school record in the indoor weight throw with a toss of 45'9" at Saturday's UW-Oshkosh Invitational, where she earned a seventh place finish. The previous school record was held by Jenni Marcell who threw 44'9" in 2006. Corey was competing in her final collegiate meet, as she is leaving to study in Germany on February 28th. |

Eric Wright played arguably his best game as a Red Hawk in Saturday's win against Beloit. In two games last week, Wright averaged 3.5 points in 9.0 minutes, while being very efficient in running the offense. Wright made 3-of-5 shots on the week, including his only 3-point attempt. The Junior guard recorded two assists in 10 minutes against Beloit. |

| Jenni broke the school record in the shot put while competing in the Stevens Point Pentathlon on Friday with a throw of 39-01.75. This breaks the mark set by Jesse Loberg in 1998 of 38-09.5. Jenni placed seventh in the pentathlon. On Saturday at Stevens Point Jenni came back to fifth in the weight throw with a season best of 43-10. She also placed seventh in the shot put with a throw of
38-8.75. Jenni currently has the best shot put mark in the MWC and the third best weight throw mark. |

Camara placed second in the triple jump at Saturday's Eastbay Invitational at UW-Stevens Point with a jump of 43-07. That marks Camara's second longest jump of his career, which he set last year at 43-10. Camara also placed third in the long jump at the meet with a jump of 20-00.5. |

| Brittany competed in her first meet of the 2007 season Saturday, after recovering from injury. Brittany looked back to her old form at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational, as she finished second overall, while leading all MWC runners in the 3K run. Brittany posted a time of 10:54.31, which marks the third best time in the event in Ripon College history. |

David McMullen

McMullen led Ripon to three wins last week (St. Norbert, Illinois College, Knox), keeping the Red Hawks tied for the top spot in the Midwest Conference. In the three games, McMullen averaged 13.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 1.7 steals, while only turning the ball over five times in the three games. McMullen also shot 12-21 (57.1%) from the field, including 3-4 (75.0%) from three-point range, while also going 12-14 (85.7%) from the free throw line. |

| Carter helped Ripon finish fifth out of seven teams at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational. Carter placed in two events, finishing fifth in the 55 meter dash, while placing eighth in the 200 meters. Carter set a senior class record in the 55 meters with a time of 7.82 seconds. She finished with a time of 28.50 in the 200 meters. |

Brian Schmitting

Schmitting led Ripon to a pair of dramatic conference victories last week, helping the Red Hawks maintain a share of first place in the MWC. The 6-7 senior center poured in 26 points and pulled down 20 rebounds to help Ripon overcome a 19-point second half deficit against Carroll en route to an 80-76 victory at home on Tuesday. Schmitting followed that performance by contributing 16 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday’s 81-77 double-overtime victory at Beloit. Schmitting, the MWC’s leader in rebounding (9.8 rpg), combined to shoot over 60 percent (17-28) from the field in the two contests. |

| Marcell excelled during Ripon's first Indoor Track and Field meet of the season. Marcell placed in three seperate events, helping the Ripon women earn fourth place out of 15 teams at the Carthage Invitational. She placed second in the weight throw with a distance of 42 feet and five and a half inches. Marcell also placed third in the shot put with a distance of 37 feet and seven and a half inches. Marcell also finished sixth in the high jump. |

Jim Hein helped the Red Hawk men's track and field team to an eighth place finish out of a 15 team field at the Carthage Invitational. Hein placed second in the Mile run with a time of 4:37.27. Hein finished just five seconds behind the first place runner. |

| Colburn helped the Ripon women win two of their three matches at the Carroll College Double Dual. The Red Hawks defeated Beloit and Eureka, while losing to Carroll. Colburn came in first in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:50.79, which was 20 seconds ahead of the second place swimmer. Colburn also finished second in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 12:05.86. |

Parker Heaps

Heaps won two individual events Saturday at the Double Dual Meet hosted by Carroll College. Heaps won the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 10:23.55, which was nearly two minutes better than the second place swimmer. Heaps also came away victorious in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:22.12, which was nine seconds ahead of the next best time. |

| Delsman helped lead Ripon to a 1-1 record last week, averaging a team-high 12.5 points per game. The sophomore guard also posted 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per contest. In the two games, Delsman shot a combined 58.8% (10-17) from the field, while making 42.9% (3-7) of her three-pointers. She also sank both free throws she attempted on the week. |

Wise led Ripon to two victories last week over Illinois College and arch-rival Lawrence University to keep the Red Hawks undefeated and in first place in Midwest Conference play (4-0). In the two games, Wise averaged 13 points per game, while shooting 42.8% (9-21) from the field. Wise also shot 80% (12-15) from the free throw line. On the week, Wise averaged 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 block, and 1.0 steal per game. |

Lindauer tried to keep the Red Hawks in Wednesday's game against St. Norbert, but the Green Knights would go on to win
66-45. Lindauer was the lone Red Hawk in double figures, scoring 14 points, while also pulling down five rebounds. Lindauer was efficient from all over the field, making four of her five shots from the field, including a perfect two for two from three-point range. Lindauer also made all four of her free throws. |

Kellett scored a team-high 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting off the bench in Ripon's 67-65 win at St. Norbert last week. Kellett was forced to play 30 minutes, after replacing Brian Schmitting, who went down with an injury early in the game. In addition to his 20 points, Kellett also grabbed five rebounds, while recording two assists and two steals. Kellett displayed his shooting touch as well, making three of his four three point attempts. |

| Gustafson led Ripon in scoring in both games last week, going 1-1 on the week. The senior guard scored 14 points in both contests. Gustafson shot a combined 68.8% (11-16) from the field, while also hitting on her only three-point attempt and all five of her free throws. Gustafson also averaged 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.5 steals on the week. |

David McMullen

McMullen scored 14 points on 6 of 12 shooting in Ripon’s 89-75 win over Knox College last week. McMullen also recorded six rebounds and four assists. The senior guard also led the defensive charge for the Red Hawks, recording eight steals. McMullen now holds the school record for most steals in school history, recording 170 in his distinguished career. |

| Yaeger helped lead Ripon to two victories last week, defeating UW-Oshkosh and Concordia (WI). In the two games, Yaeger averaged 15 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals. Yaeger also shot a combined 60% from the field (9-15). Yaeger shot 75% from the free throw line (12-16) in the two games, including a 9 for 12 performance from the charity stripe in Ripon’s three point win over Concordia (WI). |

Brian Schmitting

Schmitting averaged 20 ppg, 7.0 rpg, and 1.5 bpg, while shooting .720 (18-25) from the field in Ripon’s two losses last week to UW-Stevens Point and UW-LaCrosse. In the Red Hawk's game at UW-Stevens Point, Schmitting recorded his first double-double of the season, finishing with 29 points and 10 rebounds, while hitting on 13 of 17 shots from the field.

| Delsman sparked Ripon in their first game of the season, scoring the team's first 10 points, and 14 of her team-high 18 points in the first half in the Red Hawk's 58-57 win over UW-Superior in Ripon's Tip-Off Tournament. She followed that up with a nine point, five assist effort in a loss to UW-Platteville. In Ripon's two games, Delsman averaged 13.5 points, three rebounds, four assists, and 2.5 steals per game, earning her a spot on the All-Tournament Team. |

| Johnson helped Ripon split a pair of games at the UW-Platteville Tip-Off Tournament over the weekend. Johnson started the tourney on fire, scoring 21 of his game-high 25 points in an overtime loss to Buena Vista. Johnson was the team's leading scorer in their second game as well, scoring 21 points in the Red Hawk's win over Viterbo. Johnson was named to the All-Tournament Team for his efforts. In addition to his average of 23 points, Johnson also averaged four rebounds and two assists in the tournament. |
