Four People To Be Inducted Into Athletic Hall of Fame

RIPON, Wis. - This weekend's 2008 Ripon College Alumni Weekend will be highlighted by an awards banquet Friday night, in which three former Ripon athletes and one former coach will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The four inductees include Gerald Stelter '54, who starred in both football and basketball, William Schultz '97, who participated in football and track, Paula Hageman-Dingle '93, who was an outstanding track performer, and Coach Gordie Gillespie, who served as the head coach of Ripon baseball for 10 seasons. Bill Kinziger Joins Ripon Coaching Staff

RIPON, Wis. - Ripon College has announced that Bill Kinziger will be joining the coaching staff for the 2008 season, which will be his first as a collegiate coach. He will be in charge of coaching the Red Hawk linebackers. Prior to coming to Ripon College, Kinziger served as the defensive coordinator at Ripon High School, where he helped the Tigers win two state championships. More...

VandenBoogaard Steps Down As Head Coach

RIPON, Wis. - Ripon men's tennis coach Paul VandenBoogaard announced his resignation on Wednesday, ending his two-year stint as head coach of the Red Hawks. In his two seasons, VandenBoogaard's teams finished with a combined record of 12-19, including a 6-2 mark in conference play. The Red Hawks won the Midwest Conference North Division during his first season, with a perfect 4-0 record in the MWC. More...
