RIPON, Wis. - The Red Hawks played arguably their most complete game of the 2008 season in Saturday's 19-7 win over St. Norbert College, as they excelled at nearly every aspect of the game, including special teams. Monday, kicker Bob Wood was honored for his performance, as he was named Midwest Conference Special Teams Performer of the Week Award. That marks the first-ever Performer of the Week award for the senior from Port Washington, Wis.

Wood connected on two of his three field goal attempts against the Green Knights, marking the first multi-field goal game of his career. He made good on kicks of 22 and 34 yards, with his first kick giving the Red Hawks a 10-7 lead, en route to Ripon's first defeat of St. Norbert in their last ten meetings.
