RIPON, Wis. – Ripon College will be the site for a weekend of baseball camps for grades six through 12, during the weekend of October
18-19. A pitching and catching on-field camp, with advanced instruction will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, while a hitting camp will be held on the following day. Each camp will be located on Francis Field, which is on the south side of Storzer Center. Saturday's camp will begin at 12:30 p.m., while Sunday's will start at Noon. The cost of the camp is $75 each day per camper.
There will be several instructors at the camp, from many different levels of baseball. They will consist of professional coaches and players, current college coaches, former collegiate players, and area high school coaches. Some instructors include current Ripon College coaches and players. All campers should wear baseball pants or sweat pants, a T-shirt and/or weather appropriate long sleeve shirt, cleats or tennis shoes, and a baseball cap. All catchers must also bring their own gear. The campers will be grouped with players their own age with pitchers throwing to their same age catchers.
