RIPON, Wis. - The 2007 Ripon baseball team is expected to contend for another Midwest Conference title this coming season, but there will be some noticeable differences surrounding the team when they play at Francis Field.

On Friday, October 6th, the Red Hawk athletic department officially unveiled the renovations to the field, which includes a brand new press box, a concession stand, and new bleachers, which are capable of seating 300 people. These renovations were made possible by a donation by Bob and Patti Francis, for whom the field is named.

In addition to the baseball field renovations, Tracy Field also received new fencing, increased seating, and landscaping, which will be ready to go for this softball season. Prairie Field also recieved a new press box for soccer games, as well as a new sound system.
