Senior percussionist Ben Paulson will perform Saturday

A senior recital by percussion major Ben Paulson of Ripon will be presented at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 28, in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, at Ripon College. Paulson is the son of Jeffrey and Paula Paulson of Ripon.

The first part of the program will feature four solo works — one for snare drum, one for timpani, one for marimba and one for multiple percussion. The second part of the program will feature Paulson drumming with a jazz quartet, playing selections by Wayne Shorter, Sonny Rollins and Juan Tizol.
